Get to Know Michael Thomas and My Services

Introduction

Hi, I’m Michael Thomas, also known as Puff Pepper in my business ventures. Welcome to my little corner of the internet! This site isn’t just a showcase of my skills; it’s a space where I can help others succeed in building the online presence they deserve.

Whether you’re a small business owner looking to establish an e-commerce site, a startup ready to make waves, or someone in need of a more accessible and user-friendly website, I’m here to make it happen. My goal is to simplify web development and design, breaking it down into solutions that suit your needs—big or small.

About Me

With nearly 10 years of service in the Oregon National Guard, I’ve been at the forefront of challenging missions. From traffic control during state emergencies to wildfire support, I’ve played a role in protecting assets worth millions and ensuring the safety of others. These experiences shaped my ability to think critically, work under pressure, and deliver results.

After my time in the Guard, I wanted to explore a new challenge that combined creativity and problem-solving. That’s when I dove into web development. Through the Nucamp bootcamp, I discovered a love for front-end design, creating user experiences that are visually appealing and functional.

I took these skills to GoodAura Marketing, where I contributed to website development projects, helped clients improve their online presence, and even participated in pitching ideas to bring in more business. These experiences taught me the value of collaboration, clear communication, and delivering work that makes a tangible impact.

Building this website is a reflection of who I am and what I stand for—hard work, creativity, and continuous improvement. It’s a platform I can grow with, and I’m excited to use it to connect with people and businesses who want to achieve something meaningful online.

Why Accessibility Matters

Accessibility isn’t just a checkbox; it’s about inclusivity and making the web a place where everyone can interact and thrive. Think about people with visual sensitivities to bright lights or contrasting colors, or those who rely on screen readers and voice commands to navigate a site.

By focusing on accessibility, I can ensure your website reaches a broader audience. Whether it’s adding features like text resizing, improving color contrast, or enabling keyboard-only navigation, these adjustments can make all the difference for users who need them. Accessibility also builds trust with your audience, showing that you care about their experience and making your business stand out as inclusive and forward-thinking.
